PRE-TAN PREP: The day before - shower and exfoliate to remove all dry, dead skin. For best results, use one of our exfoliating mitts if you have super dry skin, make sure you moisturize with a ‘sunless safe’ product - we recommend anything unscented and water based. Shave and take care of any other hair removal at least 12 hours before your appointment. Remove all other self-tanners, make-up, perfume, deodorant and oils using a ‘sunless safe’ product, like one of our body washes. Again, if you have very very dry skin you may moisturize the day of your appointment, but ONLY with a ‘sunless safe’ product. Please arrive to your appointment in loose, baggy clothing and open toed shoes. Don’t forget your umbrella if it’s raining!

POST-TAN CARE: Do not allow your skin to come in contact with any liquid until your spray tan has fully set. This means no water, make-up, moisturizer + no sweating. No bad vibes - tears + setting spray tans don't mix! Original - Sets in 12 hrs Express - Sets in 4-6 hrs Super Express - Sets in 2-4 hrs Once your spray tan has set, shower in luke warm water to rinse off the cosmetic bronzers. Avoid bar soaps, exfoliants + products not designed to be used with a spray tan. For best results, use *blushtan® Body Wash. Also - Yes, you can wash your hair. After your shower, apply a 'sunless-safe' moisturizer. For best results, use *blushtan® Hydrating Moisturizer. Hydrated skin will allow for longer lasting results + natural, even fading. All solutions take a full day to develop. Please wait until 24 hours after your application to judge your results. To extend the life of your tan, moisturize with a light tan extender. We recommend *blushtan® Gradual Tanning Moisturizer. *Recommended products can be purchased in studio, online at www.charlestonglow.com

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require at least 6 hours notice before your appointment time if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Less than a 6 hour notification will be charged 50% of the service fee. A no call, no show for your appointment will result in being charged 100% of your service.
